Here are some basic FAQ about the game.

Q. What is Arkhan?
A. Arkhan is an ORPG (online role-playing game) made using the BYOND game development system. It is heavily based off of such games as Nethack, Ultima series, and Dransik Classic. The game is based not just on hunting and being the strongest, but tradecrafting and questing. That is just a general description of the game.

Q. Is this game downloadable?
A. As of now (Feb. 4 2008) the game is not downloadable for playing. An alpha release is expected around March 2008.

Q. What do I need to play this game?
A. You need the BYOND development system, which you can get here. You need to download the latest version (at this time it is Version 412.977). Then all you need is a good attitude!

Q. Will/Does this game cost anything to play?
A. As of now I don't believe I will ever make this game P2P (pay-to-play), but there may be premium accounts or expansions that will require a payment. None of this is decided yet though. Just for now everything is F2P.

Q. Is there anything I can do to help?
A. Right now it is just me working on this game solo. My computer cannot host the game because of my router (which isn't working properly so there's no port forwarding), so a host is my top priority now. You can apply to be a host by posting in the Game Discussion forum if you think you are up to it. No other services are needed at the moment.
